The Road Races ended in a light rain day with a temperature of 21°C.

Women's individual Time Trial race starts at 08:30 (Brazil local time) with the participation of (25) riders from (19) National Olympic Committees for a total distance of 29,7 km with a general speed average of 40,099 km/h.

Kristin ARMSTRONG born on 11/08/1973 from USA wins the race with a time (44:26.42), while Ashleigh MOOLMAN-PASIO from South Africa ranked the 12th place with a time gap of (+02:02.69). Her average speed was 38.335 km/h.

At 10:00, the Men' individual Time Trial race take place with the participation of (37) riders from (29) National Olympic Committees for a total distance of 54,5 km with a general speed average of 45,255 km/h.
Fabian CANCELLARA was the champion with a final time (01:12:15.42)

While, Mouhssine LAHSAINI from Morocco ranked the 33rd place with a time gap of (+12:56.30) and average speed of 38,382 km/h. Dan CRAVEN from Namibia ranked the 35th place with a time gap of (+15:32.51) and average speed of 37,244 km/h. The Algerian Youcef REGUIGUI did not start as well as the rider from Venezuela.
