On 10 August 2016, Women's individual Time Trial race will start at 08:30 (Brazil local time) with the participation of (25) riders from (19) National Olympic Committees for a total distance of 29,7 km.
Ashleigh MOOLMAN-PASIO from South Africa will participate in this race.

In same day at 10:00, the Men' individual Time Trial race will take place with the participation of (37) riders from (29) National Olympic Committees for a total distance of 54,5 km.

The start list shows (3) participations from Africa, namely:
Dan CRAVEN from Namibia, Youcef REGUIGUI from Algeria, Mouhssine LAHSAINI from Morocco.
