"Team Dimension Data" from South Africa registered as World Team, ranked

the 9th place in the Team Time Classification in 2016 Giro d'Italia that is a registered tour as class 2.UWT in the UCI World Tour and took place during the period 06-29 May 2016.

In addition, the African Riders achieved the following results:-

 Merhawi Kudus Ghebremedhim, aged 22 years from Eritrea, ranked the 6th place in Youth Classification, 37th place in the General Classification.

Johann Van Zyl, 25 years from South Africa, ranked the 37th place in Sprint Classification, 55th place in Points Classification and 79th place in General Classification.

Jaco Venter, from South Africa, ranked the 58th place in Mountain Classification, 62th in Combativity Classification, 66th place in Points Classification and 101th place in General Classification.

Songezo Jim, from South Africa, ranked the 103th place in the Points Classification and the 144th place in the General Classification.

Jay Robert Thomson, from South Africa, ranked the 149th place in the General Classification.
