African riders continue to show their high performance at international level


Daniel Teklehaimanot Girmazion "The Tickler", 27 years old from Eritrea took the mountains classification  for the second consecutive year (2015-2016) during Critérium du Dauphiné.


While, Louis Meintjes 24 years old from South Africa achieved the 9th place in the general classification after the Stage 7 with a gap time of (1'30") from the champion Chris Froome (29h59'31").


The 2016 Critérium du Dauphiné is the 68th edition of the Critérium du Dauphiné cycling stage race registered under category UCI World Tour class 2.UWT and organized in France. The Dauphiné is considered as a preview for July's Tour de France and a number of the contenders for the general classification of the Tour participated in the race.
