Sixth day: African Continental Road Championships – Luxor 2017

The Elite Women Road Race starts at 09:00 in front of the gates of New Teba City.
The race records the participation of riders from 10 countries instead of 8 countries during the previous edition in 2016.
16 riders show good performance and competitive by finishing the race with the same time (2h47'53") with average speed of 35.38 km/h. The fourth lap records the best time among the 7 laps (21':10") with an average speed of 39.69 km/h. The average age of the riders was 21 years, which highlights the promising female riders during the coming years.
The race records the participation of the oldest rider Juanita VENTER from South Africa with 41 ages, who finish in the 20 place with a gap of 00:08".
