The African Continental Road Championships take place in the city of antiques "Luxor" in Egypt during the period from 13 till 19 of February 2017 as per the hereinafter program.

More than 150 riders from about 24 countries take part in the championships. Some of them are enthusiastic to defend their continental title, other are looking forward to record their best continental ranking and other made their first step in the continental competition.

The event records the increase of participation number of women cyclists. This was due to the development process of cycling and the training camp organized before the championships, which was dedicated for only women cyclists.

Horus's eye – the logo of the championships – is watching our African champions and promising youth.
